    Thats kinda cool, so if you apply toon to an object, and set it not visable to camera... it still renders teh edges... weird but cool.

        hehehe yeah i dont think anyone would have guessed that exactly, unless they specifily knew about it. Sounds like more of a cool bug than a feature.

                  Except you can't apply toon to just a few objects, it's an atmospheric affect and as such applies to the whole scene, right? So I assume that was the necessity for the two passes (the second one being just the trees with toon applied?).
