Hope you all had a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Struggling to find any time to finish this.
It's changed somewhat since you last saw it!
Had a few comments on other forum echoing my thoughts, so I stuck it in another location.

I have done a little bit more, like changed background image, added missing balustrade, filled in ceiling etc.
Still needs a little more furniture and some lights too.
              Any C&C's?

Looking great with the added details.
Is that QMC for 1st bounce ?

                Best regards,

                  Nope.
                  irradiance first bounce
                  Lightcache secondary
Will increase subdiv multiplier for final renders
Have added a diffuse glow with low opacity which has added noise too

                    wow! looks really good!
i think the design works better in this setting than the concrete room before...

is the curved glass a single piece?

Wow, great images Geoff. This new setting works very well, especially in the first 2 images. Nice brick texture - is that one you've done yourself, or from a library?

                        Thanks for the comments
I actually started the stair in this building.
Can't remember why I stuck it the other location now

@s0real - yeah I haven't got round to modelling the individual panels yet.
@armilla - I ripped the brick texture of a photo of one of spiral's stairs, with a load of photoshopping I'm pleased with it.

                          Wow... really nice renders!!!

Only thing that bugs me is the floor textures... looks like a low res wood map or something... i cant quite put my finger on it.

                          But still... uber nice

Geoff, the latest renderings look really amazing. Is the diffuse glow just done in photoshop?

                              Thanks Clifton and DaForce

@Daforce the floor is resonably hires. Could be the graineyness of the image. It does look like a cheap pine floor which I'm thinking of changing. Concrete has been suggested.

@Clifton, yeah a diffuse glow with a low opacity. Does the trick everytime
