    Now melt them!

The edges look a little sharp, normally ice (in a non freezing environment) would have the surface thats melting, so there's actually that thin layer of water over the ice.

I don't think the studio setup is helping the ice either, the ice is almost disappearing.

i agree, however in the actual shot they will be placed in a bar like environment. So...

Seems like they are missing a little "density", the whitish fillaments in the middle that keeps you from seeing through. otherwise, looks nice

ice made with filtered water is usually much clearer than standard tap water.

Use a fire effect in max with white and blue tones for the flames, put that in the middle of the cubes.

Also interesting to note that white and blue flamed fire effects produce great shadow casting clouds.

Also if you make ice from hot water it will generally be clearer than starting with room temperature water.

And saw something on MythBusters where these people made ice blocks for sculptureing and they vibrated the water at a certain speed and maybe even spun it around, but what happened was the contaminents in the water went to the middle and they just sucked it out
                  Was rather interesting.

                  Anywayz, nice ice

now facts about fast food restoraunts ::isplaimer::: if you love fast food dont read whats below.

One of my friends used to work at mcdonalds, and well he has an overweight problem, to say the least. And he sweats a lot, well he was on a burger duty and it was very hot an he was making these burgers and his swet was raining down onto them. No one ever found out and he never did anything about it eather....

another friend of mine also used to work in mcdonals, and well, he had too much to drink the night before. In the morning he was working doing fries or something, and he got sick and puked right into the frying pan. Well they cleaned it, but you know....it was never the same.

After hearing such stories I now refuse to go to mcdonalds type joints :P
                      enjoy.
