  • FINISH SELECT projects

Thought I would share a couple projects we've recently completed. They're flash interactive demo's where the client can choose custom finishes. The Querencia project was mine and was the guinea pig for testing the new software. The Herman Miller was done by my very talented coworker keith. hope you enjoy!

Hey Percy. Your Herman Miller link didn't work - perhaps it's still loading? I've got the latest flash plugin on IE.

        @ percydaman

        Very nice, Congrats!

Tell us some more about the rendering process. Was it all rerendered, or on passes ? As I noticed in the office image the reflection change with the change of something else. Good attention on that !

        Best regards,

Were basically currently rendering every possible combination. Takes awhile certainly, but provides best quality, which Is first on our list.

Im looking at ways to streamline the process so that its alot more efficient. I think its possible to not have to render each and every combination, but with changing geometry and occluding issues, it might be tough. Its already kinda complicated getting it to work, I dont want to make things worse.

sorry you cant see it, i had problems seeing the home version on a computer at my sisters, so its hard to say why its not working properly.

I think that's very cool, well worth the effort (which sounds considerable). Congrats

                Wow! Thats a great tool.
I think if most people had this tool when redecorating a house, it could save marriages. I nominate my house if you need to do another demo, but perhaps I'll explore something similar on my own for my personal painting project.

Actually, in some Benjamin Moore stores, you bring a picture of your room, an they do have a software that does it. (kind of) I guess it is for paints only.
If not, you can do it from their pre-selected rooms

ya we have an individual furniture version also in the works for clients to choose pre modelled furniture instead of paying us to model custom furniture... will make things roll alot faster as well as keep costs down.

                            Percy mate, that is awesome!!!

Well done. I really like the kitchen render ... something about it..

I was going to mention the AA problem but realised the main image resizes depending on the browser windows size/ resolution.

Weird the first time i tried the herman miller on i gave me a pure white screen with 2 box with what looks like a username (email address) and a password field full of stars.
I then went to the other one and back to the herman miller and that now worked.
                            weird.
