The elevation of the sun will dictate the colour (low = orange, high = very slight yellow).

      Color of the sun

Turbidity - this parameter determines the amount of dust in the air and affects the color of the sun and sky. Smaller values produce a clear and blue sky and sun as you get in the country, while larger values make them yellow and orange as, for example, in a big city.

Ozone - this parameter affects the color of the sun light. Available in the range between 0.0 and 1.0. Smaller values make the sunlight more yellow, larger values make it blue.

also possible, if the gi sky effects are not what you want..

you can use an rgb tint to change nuances of the color and put it in the gi override slot of the renderdialog..

        but immages look good.

i still love those white models

          Sun/Sky

I wouldn't spend much time working on sun/sky until you get things mapped. I have done what you are doing just to have to start over with lighting after I have everything texture mapped. Things will look beautiful with a default VRay material until you map things...

The headroom on that spiral stair looks a little low - ouch!
