    Haven't been following

I haven't been following too closely but it seems to my eye that the surface of the rig itself needs some reflection and maybe some glossiness. I'd imagine there would be a lot of oil and shiny protective paint on anything that is near to the sea, there is also the water vapor and sea mist to consider. It is looking great none the less.

Looking great! Maybe a very slight addition of fine noise to the rig will help a little with the scale.

Working on these suggestions. As for the water vapor and sea mist, any suggestions on how to go about creating that? I tried volume fog, but with the VRayPhysicalCamera I can't seem to get it to render correctly and based on some posts I've seen, that's a common issue.

          Hi flavrsaver

Very nice sea Have you had any flickering problems with the sea surface when using backburner? We did an animation some months ago that had some unexplainable flickering with the vraydisplacement sea surface... We use the DS sea now, but of course there are some troubles with tiling... to say it mildly

I didn't use backburner on this. In fact, this ended up being more of a trial scene as the project shifted course and we're going a different route, so I'm just using this as testing to learn. I haven't had a chance to do much with it in awhile, but I hope to get back on it and try some more things.
