    NIce, I prefer the S-curved on, but I am a little biased

    Try adding a nice white or black border around the image, that would keep nikki happy hahah

      I finally got the file, I had to install the ùµ^$"àç(èà "megaupload toolabar" which is already uninstalled Many Thanks !

      About your image, I think the contrast is really a problem, but more the highlights that are a bit burned (in the middle of the image, around the floor lamp) a S curve will add light in those parts, so I don't think it's a good option.

      Maybe a W curve (nail a point in the center, add contrast in the lower part and remove light in the upper part, adjust till you are happy )

              I like your render too. Nice and clean.
              You could add the floor material to six4one, no need for the megaupload hassle.

                  What is the S- Curve I keep reading about? Any explanations? I've run a search but no real answers.

                      I think this is one of the better description threads
                      http://www.chaosgroup.com/forum/phpB...ighlight=curve

                      Shows what it looks like roughly and the effect it has.
                      Does wonders for low/poor contrast scenes, especially LWF renders that dont come out quite right

                      <edit>
                      the S-curve did wonders on this scene as well.

                        quite cold looking. Nice, but I wouldn't decorate it like that.
                        Kind Regards,
