great image as well as all your works in the web site.
I've always been a fan of kunstraum.tv works

can you tell us more about the settings?
what are the global qmc settings when using qmc for first bounce?
what aa are you using for stills? and which one for animation?

thanks for the replies. but before i really want to thank again all the people in the office who worked on the images of the website and especially this one.

concerning the questions. the subdivision of the primary qmc were 64. all lights in front of the windows have direct shadows with 40 subdivision. the aa settings were 0/3 with mitchel. for animation we often use adaptive with 1/4 or even 1/5 ....some settings are quite heavy, I know and actually just to handle with a renderfarm, but it´s often worth the extra time

Your curtains are the best I've seen yet!
You took the words right out of my mouse! Curtains are usually the first thing that I look at in an image to verify if it's real or not. These come way close. All that molding detail is displacement mapped right?

              Great work, metroberlin ! Congrats.

I am also curious for the workflow of the curtains geometry, and the way it was done. Which sim is used for this ?

              Best regards,
