I'm not, not sure if you can - I use the sun for quick tests and to see variation without needing to do much work then replace it with a HDRI/vray light setup for a bit more control.

            Bobby,

Have you mapped your trees and shrubs with bit maps?

              Trees and shurbs

in the first image the trees and shurbs are elements with the backgoudn trees being pasted in PhotoShop. In the second the trees and shrubs are the same except for the background trees, which is a map on an extruded circle.
