  • Vray Rendered Interactive Installation : Plus+ Exhibition UK

This film was concepted, directed and produced by Clusta for a design expo held in Birmingham, UK, in October 2006. It was an opportunity to do a piece of work which was completely non-customer facing, non-profit making and incorporated the studios ideas and skill-sets.

Set to a piece of music by electronica artist Apparat the films theme was loosely based around the idea of creationism. The film was divided into four parts all represented by words beginning with a letter from the Design Expo's title P.L.U.S.+

The film was displayed in a blacked out room within the design expo, each part of the film was triggered by user interaction with an infra-red keyboard linked to a projector, the piece could be played in individual sections or as a whole by pressing the '+' key.

The four sections follow the creation of an abstract sentient being, its observation, human creation and finally destruction.

Cool indeed, wow. Very creative, I especially like the mood and the creepy music really adds to it. I have his CD with Ellen Alien "orchestra of Bubbles".

            Very brooding and deep hehe

Pretty cool, those tenticles are great.

The whole stuttering thing grew old quick but then again I wasnt able to listen to it with sound (at work) but will watch it again at home. Should be even better

I can imagine thats why, its all done to the music and the speed/type of stutter varies depending on the sound which is repeating. I thought it worked really well.

Excellent work guys, I enjoyed that.
