    mall update

Here is an update image. I ended up using the .255 color correct method. Sun and Sky is 1 and vray camera is f-stop 8, shutter speed 40, with a ISO of 100. Comments to help improve are welcome. Still missing that WOW!

Looking much better. The asphalt still seems a little too bright and I think the sky needs to be brighter to match the daylighting. Some of the trees in the parking lot are a little over saturated but the foreground landscaping (bush, rocks, grass) looks terrific though.

            Updated mall

Here is an update. I am getting that white outline around my image when I paste into the alpha channel. How do I get around that again?

Looking good dude, sky is a little bright tho.

I still have something with that carpark, looks too much like dark polished concrete to me. No roughness or texture like a real carpark... too kind of even.
But I guess at that angle, alot of the detail wouldnt be all that visible anyway.

I think its looking good.. I would probably change the coloration on the set of cars in the middle to a less 'eye catching' color, as that is definitely the first thing that the eye is drawn to.

Other small composition things.. I would shift the 'crop' of the image up a bit, in practice you tend to get a slightly nicer image when using the 2/3rd rule.. the bottom 3rd to half of the image being the focus point, with a little more sky fluffy nonsense above it. as it is now the focus ends up as the parking lot.. either faking the camera up a spot in Z height or simply cropping differently would feel nicer to me.

I liked the light quality of the first image best for the buildings.. in the latest one they tend to get darker and get pushed back in the image some.. seems more of early morning light quality, with a evening sky. maybe a slight faking of tint.. cooler sky/foreground, warmer building focus would clear it up some?

I personally dislike the light green of the foreground car, i don't think I've ever seen one quite that desaturated. and find it slightly distracting

thats about all I can think of at first glance.. keep up the good work

anyway, some random thoughts from the peanut gallery, don't take em personal

Ait is all in the details. I like the 2/3 idea and will put it into pratice. The cars in the middle are RPC's so I don't have control over the colors. I agree about the green car, but I was just glad to get the lighting under control. Thanks for the comments.
