pretty standard settings really... lc (about 1000 samples) and Irradiance map (near enough high preset)... no lights just HDRI.. we are doing alot of product based visuals like these at the moment for one of our clients.

will post some more soon.. though alot of ou bigger stuff is controlled by NDA's...

- on that first image with the HDRI :
what sort of image is the HDRI? a studio setup like Doschs or a real scene?
roughly whats the HDR resolution (or the file size as a guide)
what are the render times like?

its a dosch design hdri.. works fine for product based renders...

daforce... if you can remember...we our golf course animation still in development, its a mix of vue 6, scanline and vray passes.. a real pain of an animation to do.. will post a link soon and share some of our methods then too... thanks again for some of your thoughts...

well.. not really. its been a bit of a stop start.. will be rendering for HD at the end of this month..!! we have been so busy with other stuff too!!

will let you have a look once we get clearance tho..
