Not nearly the A+ stuff I see here, but here is an interior I am working on that I would love some feedback. I am getting a strange reflection on the ceiling.

    Hello glorybound,

I like your rendering very much, only thing which stands out, on the stone wall, you could put some displacement, at the moment looks almost like a wall paper.

What do you think is causing the bad reflection onthe ceiling?

        Hi glorybound,
I think it is caused by the light standing on the small table or the table surface itself. I like it, shows polished sealing, maybe a bit exaturated though.

my guess is the floor area where the direct sunlight hits the floor. thats the only thing that can cause sucha bright reflection on a glossy material like your wood. again, this is just a guess.

ps, what color mapping settings are you using?

Turn off any blurry/bump for the ceilings reflection, turn the reflect way up so its like a mirror, do a test render, and see what is being reflected in that area.

I would say that the reflection is from the specularity in one of your lights. Turn off affect speclular to get rid of it.
