I'd also be interested in knowing this.
Would you be kind enough to give an indication of the settings used for the LightCache because i seem to find it hard to avoid flickering when using QMC/LC for moving object animations.

That dog by the way is just superb...
    SV,

    Lightcache settings were:

    1000-1500 Subdivs depending on scene
    0.02 Sample size
    Screen Scale
    4 Passes
    Store SIrect light

    Pre-filter 100-500 depending on scene
10-50 Interp samples depending on scene

      Thanks Greg,

how did you manage to avoid flickering from the LC calc'd on every frame? Thanks for the pointers on the car lights. I figured that might have been your method. Did you guys have to model the car yourselves or did you get it from the car company?

We didn't see any noticeable flicker in the outside shots. However in the insdie garage shots where there was noticeable flicker, we cached the LC.

The car model was derived from Cad data.

Great job on it! I must say I really like that one camera move where the car starts upside down, and as it drives by the camera flips over.

            Hi,

it's really great work. Nothing to crit.

Given the time frame and the number of artists this is incredible.

It's a pity you couldn't use the VRay ISOs for the ice in the end although you initially did. Would have been the first big project for it

            Best regards,

            Dieter

im pretty sure its per computer. Rendering frames of an animation with DR is a bit silly
