Here are the latest images. I am getting happier with them.

I learned pretty much everything I know about materials from Ted Boardman. I spent many a day on the Autodesk VIZ forum in it's earlier days up until I started using VRay in production. I had a max book that he was a co-writer for, which was a pretty good resource, cant remember which one it was though. He now has a blog that he updates with tips and tricks, some of which I am sure are about materials.
