    Testing a offshore scene

    c&c welcome

Ah, very nice progress so far! I had been working on a similar project towards the end of 06, but it got redirected so I never was able to finish it. You can check out the thread to see the progress I made.

Your modeling and texturing a much more advanced than mine and I prefer the camera angle you did. I'm curious as to what you did for the sea material. Care to share any settings on that? Also, are you using displacement for the water?

looks really good. the underside of that 'platform' thing looks too reflective/glossy to me.

Wow, nice one! especially love the water.
Perhaps some foginess towards the horizon could give it even more depth.

flavrsaver - There are no displacement for the water, just noise... The sea material is a quite complex one with alot of blend material with a mix of bump and foam for near and far water...

dellis - yes it is a vray sky

Thanks for the comments, but I'll do some update and mybe a more closup

OMG ! This is great !

The dirt and the finely detailled machines

Just... strange black frame on certain images and the last one that seems underexposed... anyway...
