hi guys,
one more practice project done in 3Ds Max 9, rendered in Vray and post work in PhotoShop,

everything modelled except for some small antique meshes, TV, DVD player, Buddha, flower vase, bed, candles, some books and the tea set......

Very nice ilumination I like it a lot, the materials setings are awsome too.


I can critic the lines in the floor I think that are quite big and the rounded corners quite big too. the outside its to burn. but in general i think its a very good work.

i agree about the cusions...could use a bit of noise modifier or something to soften it up.

Flooring looks a bit like laminated woodgrain bookcover and the panel joints are too big.

my crit is about the wood in walls.
it looks fake. not as shader. I mean as structural.
I know that there are such verneers in market. so I know it can be real as a finish or veneer.
but as concept or architectural , maybe they are not my taste because they look structurally fake.
I wish I could explain sorry for bad english.

i would say that this is a cost effective mini studio, veneer used on the wall which looks like fingerjoint panels.....just an idea and nikki i tried some tricks as mentioned by you in your thread

The size of the floor planks is throwing off the overall scale of things for me! Great renders though.....
