  • Black lines in rendering

    Hello everybody.

Here you see a rendering which contains some strange artefacts. There are some black lines - but I have no idea what the reason for this might be.

I use Vray sun & sky.

    Sun Multipl.= 0,05

And this is my render dialog:

Where might those black lines come from?

Is the model from Sketchup ?

Looks like you might have overlapping faces. What are these lines on the ceiling? is that a texture. it lokks almost the same as what you have on your corners.
Do you have a wider shot of that area?

No, there are no overlapping faces. I have double checked this allready.

The lines on the ceiling are all right. This is a very old house. Back in those times they used wood and reed for the ceiling. The black lines are caused by "vray dirt" beween the wooden bars.

I still have no idea what might have caused the black lines. But I finaly fixed it.
I forgot to use the vray physical camera (which is recommendable when using sun&sky). Now, with a vray cam in use, everything is fine. The black lines are gone.

Thanks to you all for your help!
