It is pretty realistic, but the good thing is that that's not the first thing that came to my mind. It's a great illustration, perfect frame, perfect perspective, nice composition and very colorful.
I think the two people on the side are not very good compositionally and are distracting. The headlights from the car on the left would not have the same intensity as the solar flare on the glass, which I also do not find very convincing. The verticals are almost vertical, but not quite and to me that is a bit careless and look unintentional. The main entrance of the hotel is dark and foreboding, not very welcoming to the eye. More effort should be put into making it inviting, and obvious as the center of activity. Transparency on the glass would help, but that is often up to the architect, and quite honestly, the budget. Overall the composition feels a little too cramped and claustrophobic - the canopy edge on the right is just barely fitting in there.
So, I have to disagree with Pailhead and respectfully say that is definitely not how archviz should be done. I do like the overall tonal values, but I feel like the rest of it leaves a lot to be improved upon.
thanks a lot Tim for your comments, we always enjoy and appreciate comments from great user and talent guy or girl.
A year ago, we didn't master a lot of thing with Vray.... We are a bit better this year.
Sure, I'm glad you weren't too offended. I am usually not so harsh, but I feel a lot of times the forum becomes a place where everyone pats each other on the back without some real crits.
