I think the water seems too reflective, or is it just me?
Still it looks good. Did you do the water with a VRay plane or is the water and clouds done with something like dreamscape? (nice ship)

I think the sea could do with a little fogging (same colour as the sky) as it gets to the horizon.

Can't wait to see the animation.

voltron7: I didn't model the ship, just textureing and rendering

I'll see what I can do with the reflection and fog.
The water is a regular plane and I added the sky in photoshop

And closeup... After the closeup rendering, I can see some of the equipment is floating!
