But if you are capturing it at high speed, wouldn't the smoke trail behind? Rather than upwards?

Great clip! I loved the first one too. Such beauty in simplicity.

Must agree on the smoke, my first thought was that I'm seeing a normal smoke motion on a slooow bean. Anyway, the subtle smoke is just what that makes this clip so stunning.
