Neat! How did you go about doing that fountain water? If they're photos, where did you get em from?

Thanks! The fountain water we did using particles and blobbies for the basic shape, then some editing to get it about right and after that some PS to soften the edges...

The characters are a mixture of different libraries, we have some Axyz models and recently decided to go for the Rocketbox Libraries - they're awesome! They look much better, the mapping is a lot easier to edit and modify and the skinning is really good. Plus they have actual fingers which for some closeups makes quite a difference.

I took a look at thos rocketbox characters. They're very game-like, and by god they're $4k!

They're not too bad ay, im not keen on the first one which i think is the weakest, not sure why - possibly the lighting is a bit confused.
The last one is my favourite. The composition and lighting are great and it has a nice feel to it. Its reminds me of the north shore in NZ looking across to Rangitoto volcano.

Voxel3D, thanks for pointing me towards those models, they look good!! however... I have to say they are rather expensive!!

I know mate haha theres no RX5s or Toranas doing burnouts down the main road.
And good to see another kiwi on the board, i think theres about 4 of us lurking about now
