Ok, so I've done what I can to update the clip without re-rendering, taking into account some of your suggestions (thank goodness I rendered to EXR!). I've cut way back on the specular bloom effect, and also reexposed the upper left atrium so it isn't completely blown out. I've also overall tweaked the exposure to bring the rest of the interiors a bit brighter, an animated adjustment that happens as the camera passes the beam so it isn't noticeable.
