  • playground fort

I haven't posted an image in a long while so here is one I'm playing around with. It's my take on a playground fort for kids. Just for fun!

    that's great.
I take it the background is a photo?

Only crit would be I think you could do a couple of things to blend them together a little bit more if so...
also a branch of the tree is bleeding through your wood - is the background image set as an environment and in screen mode?

    Really nice stuff though...

Thanks for the input guys. This is just for fun so there won't be other angles, there aren't any. I do mainly furniture renders now and doing something different is sure a nice change.

sv, I will look at the background. It does look a bit odd, thanks.

overall lighting values are decent. Modeling and materials need alot of work to acheive photorealism. Ie...lessen repeating wood maps....adding elements of moisture to wood, color variance, adding dents along edges. Overall just too perfect.

What sv said. If you add a touch of green tint to the wood as well as leaf shadows, you're rockin.

Thanks for the critics guys, I agree with all of it. It is always great to get such helpful input from this site. I ran out of free time on this little project, but when I get a chance, I will update the image.
