  • Nike Zoom T7 football shoes

    Hi all,

This is another project we've recently completed & animated here at realtime:uk studio. Nike Zoom T7 football shoes with two versions - indoor & outdoor, both needing to explode so the client could highlight the key features on their website.

We've been using 3ds max 2009 (with polyboost), Vray and photoshop with AE.

    View the animations at www.Nikefootball.com
There are 'Hard Court' & 'Artificial Turf' versions, you'll need to select these to start the movies...

The shoes were all poly modelled prior to the turbosmooth being added, then mapped with Headus UVlayout (great tool btw!) which made the job soooo much easier!

Here's a few screengrabs from NIKE website:

(it was one of the hardest modeling and texturing job I've been ever work in!)

    Hope you like it!

    thanks,
    pionier.

      Looks fantastic!!

I've done a few shoes myself trough the years, and they are a lot more tricky to do then you might think first, which makes these renderings that much better

Wow, some of the best modelling ive seen yet. Did you have cad models to work from or did you do everything from scratch ?

I would love to know the process to create such accurate models...also did you scan in textures from a real trainer to product the lovely fabric textures ?

How did you put all the divots in the surfaces ?
            Regards
