  • Callibre 2755 - Vacheron Constantin

    Hello Guys

Here is a final render of the Calibre 2755 from Vacheron Constantin (oldest watchmaking company 1755 without interruption).

Modeling based on their CAD files (60% quad models, 40% power nurbs)

I try to be closer to real materials and camera effects. I try to put some scratches to avoid "perfect render"...

    3DSMax 2009 + Vray 1.5 SP2 + Nuke 5.1v3, all 64 bits
    Full rez A3 300Dpi 7016 x 4960 (render time32h. on Q6600)

All adjustments, chromatic aberrations and DOF with Nuke.

You can see higher resolution here :

    Hope you enjoy...

PS: Thanks to Vlado and Chaos Group for providing great tools !!!

Wonderful, I wonder if your clients ever ask you to tone down any scratches you add! Are the anistropic rotation maps you mention grayscale?

Have you been busy preparing for Baselworld? I'm waiting to see an animation to explain how the Concord C1 works!

Do you really need such a resolution ?!?!

Even for A3 printing, I can't say you need more than 3500x2000.

          This is just my opinion.

          cheers

            Thanks to all...

Such a resolution to allow our client to go over A3...
            That's all
