  • Wip on the dead end,

    Hi,

This is part of a 3 days project for a dealership on a existing building, any critics are welcome!
I need to finish it today...and a lot of them to render yet

some crits? well it looks pretty good anyway..but i guess I could say that as bright as it is outside and darker inside, wouldn't you see more reflection in the panes of glass?

Yeah you right, but main pourpose is to show the inside so I try to avoid that...

        Very nice Goncalo!

My 2cents would be to perhaps turn the front ceiling spotlights on, to try get some highlights/sparkle/accent on the cars...it'll maybe brighten the interior just a bit too...pretty strong contast between bright outside/dark inside.

        Good job!

I find the outside textures a bit boring because of the obvious repeating. Especially the stones in front of the window, there's a large area with only stones, maybe you can add some extra stuff there (paint lines, dirt, ???)

Very nice, Goncalo, I agree with flipside, maybe a quick way to do it is to mix a little noise into it.

the problem with dirtying up an image to make it look more realistic is often not what a client wants to see. They like the idea that their building etc, will be shiny and clean FOREVER!! lol

really like your work Goncalo, though I reckn' an interior like that should be lit well (twice as much as it is now) like a 7-11 or service station. not blown out but no shadows because of all the light bouncing around. just my thoughts.

Looks great Goncalo! My biggest crit would be that the scale of the stones on the floor outside the window looks too small. I would make em bigger personaly. I think they look out of scale with the showroom. Great work mate.

                              Regards,

                              Marc
