Looks good, it both looks integrated and not.. The dull lighting seem to match, but it is VERY different from the other buildings.

                Nice job!

Looks like your average Edinburgh day... I've a feeling I used to buy unhealthy food from that bakery on the way home from the pub sometime in the late 90s.

                  Thanks guys!

Thomas - It is very different but trust me, it miles better than the existing building!

Peter - I have also been known to frequent the establishment in the early hours of the morning, in fact, I had a cheeky bacon roll from their yesterday

are the people in front of the building not too small, if you compare them to the man on the right in the picture?

Maybe a bit, maybe just wearing less baggy clothes? Compare them to the people on the left of the image. You have a point though, they dont sit right in the image.

While it does match the photography well, your photography itself needs work.

Certainly a case for a HDRI combined image shot, to get the sky into range.

Very impressive for a one day project though!

The people do seem out of scale a little. The render looks good and fits the environment... though i can't help thinking the building doesn't looks right as it is in that spot - Architecture-wise (but that's just me, looking at it out of context i do love it)

A view from the bakery corner might turn out to be very nice too.

                          Cheers
