  • Richmond Road Resi

Recently completed project in Hackney, London. All 3d, very little post processing. Lit by HDRs and vrayIES lights, although daytime version has a bit of vraysun thrown in for good measure.

Spent a bit of time improving my glass on this project, all windows have double glazing to get subtle double reflections, and a bit of noise in the bump slot mixed with a bitmap to make the glass 'bulge'. Inspired by this tutorial: http://3dsmaxrendering.blogspot.com/...bout-bump.html

    Absolutely beautiful images Peter!

Man I wish I could purchase some of your HDRI's!

    Truely a legend.

quality. especially love the first one, even though the cab gives me the impression it's moving a bit too fast. but it might be just me.

          Nice Peter,

Love the train going past on the left there. Pictures like this are great because of the little "hidden" details.

Very clean render. Was the client after all three weather variations or did you just do these? Do you make your own HDRI's?

I was able to have a bit of fun with this as the client is a friend of mine and the bulk of work had already been done for a less interesting (for me) planning permission submission.

I make my own HDR images, just half dome ones which is enough for the type of work I do. They are pretty high res and very high dynamic range. I've got a library of.... i don't know 50 or more which I should maybe try and sell somewhere!

Beautiful, I like them all, great balance between extérior intérior, nothing is burned out on the day light version, nice détails in the texture, and very nice lighting.
                    Great ! congrats

Great images! When you say you made the HDR's do you mean shot with a camera and processed them?
