Beautiful render, very nicely modelled and textured! Very well made!

But the lens flare kills it for me though! it would have been much nicer as just a shimmering rim light...

I like the animation. The textures are great and the strawberries look like you could reach in and eat them.
I agree with hellobard about the lens flare. It is a little overkill, but without knowing what the brief was, maybe the client insisted?

Great render though. Works really well against the black.

        thanks.
ja the lensflare was one of the big client "killers".
we had another earlyer version with a lot of water splashing around and nice wet floor wich looked pretty nice. all killed by client...

Ah! If only clients would leave it all up to us! I feel and share your frustration.

That said, great job on the mood of your mise-en-scene. I agree that the lense flare just doesn't work here. The movement of the flare implies a movement in the light source when the rest of the scene clearly doesn't seem to reflec this.
Also, in the still image, the lense flare causes a "halo" effect around the forground strawberry drawing your eye to it. This amplifies the depth of field effect making it too noticeable.
          I hope I'm making sense?
          Thanks,
