    Eric, your image looks great! two small things bothers me thought, the refractions of the distant glass seems to opaque, and the table reflections on the sphere is washed out.

    I get the same problem some time ago, and I dont know the solution

      yeah, I don't know how to fix either, I used a composite material on the "table" mixing a self ilumanated standard material of the background wrapped with "generate GI" turned way down "camera mapped" onto the table surface and another version of that in a wrapper set to matte to get the shadows. Seems that the shadows from the matte do not reflect in the sphere. The glass has the same material as the others if I move it over the plate it renders fine.

        Camera mapped, is that screen mapping? I'm struggling too...
