Pretty nice. The colors are bit too strong though. Could you post an example of what you are scattering?

as i said...i am fiddling with colors on my monitor....will have to get a calibration probe at some point when clients decide to start paying for projects ))
i used iGrass for this one...and changed the settings a bit

Agree on that vigneting on the last one!......are there any tips for using vignettes? i know physically they r created by some types of lenses but is there a specific usage in some image aspect ratios?

those lawns look flawless. very nice.

some color correction and you've got some *deadly* images.

ah - to have a perfect one-size-fits-all color correction scheme. the holy grail.

please keep in mind - this is *highly* subjective - everyone does this a little differently, and to be perfectly honest, your images have an apparent 1:1 accuracy to them that is very admirable.

what i think is missing is the inevitable color-shifts that come from sun position and sky conditions - blues and yellows that would affect the highlights and shadows in your image.

the success of alex roman's work is due in large part to his high degree of sensitivity to this phenomenon and his ability to balance a realistic depiction of these phenomena with his own artistic vision of what colors work well with his compositions and subject matter. i'd suggest a good look through his stills for pointers. particularly the breakdown of his exeter rendering, which he's generously provided on his vimeo channel - tons of good pointers and ideas in there.

[edit] - if you email me an EXR or HDR, i'll take a stab...

can you please send me your mail via PM?
i can only send a PNG in 16 bits, the exr is without sky and backplate but if you want i can send you that too.

should not these color shifts come from the vray sky and/or HDRI?

thanks for the poiter for the exeter breakdown and for the tips!

been trying to decompose that Exeter shot breakdown but to be frank i have no clue what hes doing there and how hes pulling those colors out, especially in the animation.
damn i wish he had a workshop somewhere

On one video there is a tutorial, but it's pretty long, so when you'll have time
                            What about my question?

ram usage around 3.5 GB and rendertime around 2 hrs when rendering at 3500px

btw do you have a link to that video?
