great ! even in the small animation there´s a lot of ambient. never thought of dreamscape, is it realy good ? and what about the daylight system ? is it from max oder a new one and do you have to tweak a lot to get realistic results ? questions over questions, but it looks intresting for me.

          Hi thanks for the comments

ST: The water its a VrayMlt with white reflections, white refractions with interpolated glossy refractions and IOR 1.33 and some green fog.

Metroberlin: DreamScape is very nice and easy to use, I ve only to link the DreamScape Sun to Max/Viz Daylight System and to get this effect excluding all the objects from DS sun, The IES Sun do the rest with a color mapping at 0.025.

Its a pity that I cant use Vray in ME using DreamScape environment...

Goncalo, that's quite a nice animation. One tiny little thing bothers me about it - when the sun is somewhere between 12:00 and 1:00 the edges where the walls meet under the overhang on the left seem to glow.

It's probably physically correct, and I've just never paid attention to it before.

In any case, very nice, my friend

                  Hi Keith,

Actually the walls doesnt meet there, there is a gap beetwen them wich is not preceptive at this size but thats why it seems to glow, what you see is a bounced light from the floor.

About the tutorial....humm lets see... what do you really like to know?

that is AWESOME. I am not familiar with Dreamscape. Is that what you used for the sky image? i am curious as to what you used to simulate the sky-light and if/how you animated the settings for it.

The skylight is DreamScape sky only, so you only need to link the DreamScape Sun to the Daylight System and animate the last one to get a animated skylight.

The shadows are from the Vray not DreamScape, I ve exlude all the objects from DreamScape Sun...
