              very great work!
I wish to ask you some question.
              1) What kind and how many light sources did you use in that scene?
              2) How did you get car paint material? (there is a reflection, but there are no object into the scene)
              3) Always, when I use a skylight (color environment), reflections alter my diffuse color. But your color and reflection in car paint material seems to be perfect. What's your system)
              4) last question. what kind of lens/fov did you used for your camera?

I hope you could answer me, your work are best way to learn

                Thanks,

                1. There is only skylight.
                2. There is a HDRi map in the vray env. map.
                3. Put the reflection map in the vray env. map.
                4. Don't remember.. but it's just a normal cam.

thank you for the answers thomas
but what do you mean with vray env. map.?

into vray "enviroment" panel, there are two slot:
                  - GI (environment)
                  - Reflection/Refraction ect. environment

So, you use both slots? And, what color is skylight? (if you use GI (environment color).

So, I don't understand, why my objetc colors are so altered, if I use an HDRI map. I hope you could explain me better this concept.

                    Hi,

"standard env map" is white, that gives me the white background.
"GI Environment (skylight)" is also white, this gives me white skylight. (I use this since I can control the multipliere)
"Reflections/refraction etc environment" contains my hdri map. (This only shows up in reflections and does not affect the light in anyway)

                    Hope that helps.

                        floor material?

Hi tomas! Congratulations for your work. It´s amazing.

I would like to know what kind of material do you use for the floor. It seems that the matte/shadow doen´t work with Vray

How do you get the shadows and nothing else?

                        Thanks Thomas!

It's a VrayMtlWrapper which is vrays own matte/shadow.

                            Alpha channel

                            Thanks Thomas!

The material wrapper doesn´t seem to generate the alpha channel like the matte/shadow. Probably I`m doing something wrong.

I used a std material as the base material in the mat. wrapper. I have the tic in afect alpha and in shadows. But anyway, when I see the alpha channel, the base box is there.

                            How do you solve this?

                            thanks again!

                            and greetings from Argentina.

You probably have to set "alpha contibution" to 0 instead of 1.
