Seeing the original picture, I think you've done a great job, especially to show the model in question.
I always use the picture provided by the client, and do not usually change anything in the environment or the sky,
but in your case I think you're right.

Here is the final... I didn't have to work on the road texture, but overall I am happy with it and so is the client.
