  • Casas do Forte - Interiors

    Hello,

Recently i decided to pick a simple interior model from last year architectural client, use some free stuff and turbosquid models (Tora´s Pasmarone chair), and do some interiors and try different things for me such as FumeFX or Hair and Fur. Played a bit with some different moods/ lights/ rendering/ and post production.
This is also an exercise of interior white balance for an upcoming project.

Artists references: Peter Guthrie, Hcpiter, Alex Roman.

Hope you like it. Comments and critics and very welcome.

ps. Unfortunatly the kitchen shots might be too bright for most LCD´s monitors. Sorry for that.

really nice, love the overall mood. i especially have to agree with Prateek on the color bleeding. really well done.
The carpet seems a bit off scale though in the first two images.

Would you mind sharing the way you achieve the perfect color balance, especially the fact that your white walls seem really white and not kind of greyish ?
I really don´t get it although i am always using lwf.
my white walls always are kind of grey or get tinted from color bleeding...

I normally put some vray materials inside a vray override mat. Especcially those vraymaterials that have strong presence in a room, for e.g. the wood floor, or a red wall or something, and so with override i can control the color bleeding better giving it in diffuse a neutral white color.

"With this material you can get a fine control over the color bleeding, reflections, refractions and shadows of the objects - spot3d".

                    Neutral in the vray camera.
                    Test different vignetings.

After that post production can also help, in PS i sometimes use Selective Color and adjust the white tones removing some yelowish or greyish that might still be there.
As allways, a good Color Balance is also important.

I think those things all together or independently can help you achieve better white control.

                    Hope this helps you.
