          Cold

A beautiful image and a fascinating piece of work. It is amazing how far you can go with Sketchup. I haven't seen this level of artwork done in SU before.
          Very impressive.

Fantastic work. Very moody and atmospheric. I just wish you had bumps on the floor tiles.

Re: A ruin memory - Hồi ức đổ vỡ

                      this scene is very philosophical.

background is destroyed/ ruind for a certain reason that happend for couple a times ago.
so, picture frame is down and photograph burnt out.

but a kind of picture is still there! or the picture is still captured by picture frame.

i can read tragedy and some kind of memorys.

but we can see very bright light.

the artist really wanna say that.

Re: A ruin memory - Hồi ức đổ vỡ

cold is kind enough to share this picture in Vietnamese forum as a celebration of the Vietnamese National day. some of us did tried to play his model. I myself learn a lot from this model and understood more on the effect of sunlight. perhaps i should share my rendering here to just see the difference.

in my image the shadow of the man became smaller because its further from the surface. i played in using bigger sun @10 to have soft shadow, unfortunately the size of the shadow became smaller. i found out that if the object is nearer to the surface the shadow is much sharper, away... the shadows becomes more suttle. it seems to me the vray sun does nto really mimic the sun in anyway. it actually mimic a stronger point or omni light. i dont know.. perhaps dalomar or joe has more clearer explanation on this.

anyway im attaching these images for reference,

the image is still bit burnt and im still trying to solve so more issues. any suggestion?
