welcome to the boards joost. a few crits...

-camera angels...i dont think they do you any favors...first one is to low to effectively visualize your scene and the second one is okay for a detail shot but i have a hard time placing it in your overall image

-AA...gotta have AA...there are jaggies all over your image. now if these are simply test/production renders than ignore me.

-textures...too flat. give that grass some life with a lil displacement...same goes for the red sidewalk/road...what material is that? it needs some sort of bump or tile or whatever to convey what it is...right now it looks like...well im not really sure what that would be. also throw a little reflect on the railing material...im assuming its just painted steel, this will give it some hightlights and make it look less flat.

-lighting...more contrast...it looks like a clear day due to the sky...a little more contrast between the sunlight and shadowed areas would really make it jump.

-tree...they are all the same...mix them up a little bit to add a bit of realism.

the water looks nice. but the sky texture itself looks a little low rez...although that could just be the jpeg compression of these images.
modeling looks clean...with a few tweaks this could be a nice image.

    happy pixel pushing.

      Hey thanks Asango,

This is the first time I posted something on here and already can see the benefits. I think your comments are all relevant.

But, what do you mean with AA? and jaggies (Dutchman here, so my english isnt that good).

The red material is suppost to look like red asphalt for bicycles

Do you have any sugestions for more contrast lightning?

      Thanks again.

AA= Anti Aliasing...its under the 'image sampler' rollout in render settings.

i usually stick with the default adaptive subdivision settings, unless something requires extra detail.

it will render you edges much smoother thus avoiding the jaggies or stairstep effect you have in your images.

as far as your red asphalt i would suggest throwing in a noise bump map or at least breaking up the white lines a bit...not a lot, its new after all, but look at the paint lines on asphault, the lines dont have sharp, clean edges.

as far as lighting...it looks like your illuminating the scene with one Direct light...try punching up the multiplier a bit, tweaking it til it looks brighter and the shadows are still nice. i think it would look good if it was brighter overall. that will also help the bike path i think...it wont be so dark and hard to visualize
