Re: another bedroom to sleep in

      thanks DW,
honestly, i haven't made a decent carpet using displacement..
that's why i changed it in the second scheme.

luck created that texture map in the blanket and pillows..heheh ;D
nah, honestly, i downloaded the bed in archibase..the 3ds format maybe was exported with its texture coordinates preserved.
when i imported it to SU, it created an error about the texture, but really it has the texture perfectly mapped on...and so on.

ill figure it out if i had the time..but for now..here's the second scheme..
      want some coffee?..heheheh ;D (it's 11PM here)

Re: another bedroom to sleep in

HI MIGS ... is this a project from gama?

            nice render,

ok heres my perception about your work

1 lower you horizon line max of eye level in every interior.

2 the carpet is fine but can you extrude it and fillet a little bit in all edges...

3 i love your paintings .but if this is a canvas try to project that grass painting to the thickness of the canvas ..meaning no white frame and inclined a little bit say 87 deg.?

            4 the floor is nice

            5 about the furniture
a.) your pillow is ok.but the blanket looks hard for me.
b.) your sofa and the treadmill is out of place .that sofa is for living rooms if you like it maybe used some textures that will match the bed... and dont placed it to the bed directly or should i say not narrow bec the space is wasted..
c.) youR magazine is thin . and make the image 98 transparent. for reflection
d.) can you used another wood texture for you cabinet must be seemless and you can adjust the color to ps.. try .85 glossiness and 1.7 ior it depends in your lighting

no offense just comments for a gamas work...( KAILANGAN PINAKAMAGANDA PAG KAY MAM RIA )
SAY HI TO ALL GAMA STAFF....

REGARDS JDS NICE WORK BRO KEEP IT UP

                    artchung,
the bed is from archibase.net..ive set a bump and reflection 0.25,0.35, make a higher reflection if you got bump on it.

                    for now here's another scheme..

                    and another view

i guess that's for now, ill have it post-processed later..

Re: another bedroom to sleep in

sorry ande, i haven't paid much attention on it due to this rush work.
i tried scaling it down the day i got it but it always gave me a white-out scene.
i am using meters as default units in contrast with the IES file which is millimeters.
scaled intensity to 1/100, still it gave me intense white-out.

dont worry ill figure it out soon
