        Re: Optima Renderings

        Thanks!
I use Micha's tutorial setings, downloadable here:

        http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=c...derby=2&page=2

remeber that these settings are good for light panel, if you want you can add a reflection layer with an HDRI for more reflection on the objects.

Cool, did you change any of the settings, how many rectangle lights did you use and what HDRI map did you use?
          Cheers

No, I don't change anything of the settings, but you have to uncheck "no decay" on the light panel options and increase the multyplier

              Material testing with "standard cups".

Just a test to see the reactions of some materials in a particular environment

                  Re: Optima Renderings

                  Nice work!

Why did you use that checker material?
I would prefer a more discreet material because the focus is a lot more on the object then.
Someone who doesen´t know about rendering can not understand what you whant to show with this sourrounding!

The model and material looks pretty nice and the lighting as well, maybe a bit to bright in my eyes.

And the last thing what came on my mind when i saw your work was that some depth of field would improve the picture. If you focus the guitars body and the neck gets blurry it might be interesting.

                  Have a nice day!

                    Re: Optima Renderings

Hi Jonas, thanks for watching my works!!

I use a checker material because the totally white material that I use for test looks too "empty", I think that this backgroung emphasizes more the difference beetween the objects and all the rest...but it's just a personal impression...
..I've tried to set a good dept of field by override the focal distance of the camera, but I don't be able to set it very good...can you tell me if there is a good tutorial for this?

ThankS and have a nice day too!

                      Re: Optima Renderings

                      Hello,

the best tutorial i know is this:

                      http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=c...d=19&Itemid=57

                      made by micha!

You should work fine with this...if using a non physical camera.

                      best regards

                      Jonas
