Interesting theme! I'm in no position to comment, but what do you say about putting more bump on the "in-betweens" of the planks? Or maybe just a bit darker stain on the planks themselves? It might work better for the theme.. Sorry I'm just too enthusiatic about this forum. Don't listen to me! Haha, excellent texture on the sofa!

Nice combination of colors and materials!
Great granite material, chrome and cloth!
When I make potery materials, I change sometime the filter color.Usualy when the material it's white,to make ti more interesting. It's nice, you should make an experiment!

      Stefan

stefan, thanks for pointing that Filter color. i am actually doing alot of experiment in using filter map too to create stains and other effects... but yeah you are absolutley correct with that. now the more we experiment the more we can just say how much more things with this soft that has not seen yet here.

thats ok paulo_kulot. I think I need to tweak more of the wood. the reflection. at first my intention was to make displacement but i did not find it practical. anyway, its actually one of the thing i have learned from these project. My vase is kulot na kulot di ba?.

Nice work Nomer. Personally, I don't like the finish of the wood floors near the window, however, everything seems nice.

May I ask the settings of the bump in your couch? Thanks. I've been out now for a very long time and I need to catch up from you guys.

paulo i did not use hdri in this rendered image, the finished rendered was in png file, and then i used a background layer in photoshop below that png file. its pretty easy though.

as far as hdri. i will give you a tip. *turn off the physical camera. if you dont want to turn, you need to give a really high multiplier so that it will appear. the camera is really design to counterbalance the bright vray sun...

the carpet... no its different one.

Thanks for the tip nomer! Yep I use the same technique with my backgrounds. But stefanq's HDRI background (and lighting) works are just simply inspiring, aren't they?

Gonna try that sofa material too, if you upload it!
