  • Re: New Renders

Hi 40th and thanks for your reply, If I take a photo where I want to have both the exterior and interior balanced I will do one of two things
1: set the exposure through the window and use a fill flash to expose the interior
2: or with the camera set on a tripod take two photos one set for the interior and one out the window. The two photos are then blended in PhotoShop to keep both exposures correct.

I do prefer over exposing to some degree the exterior in renders, but I suppose it then becomes a matter of preference to which way you go. I am always trying to get very natural looking light in my renders.
This render is one of the rare times I used the sunlight in combination with the v-ray physical camera; I will be trying more with this combination to see what I can come up with.

    Thanks again 40th
    Mark

hi Mark, what your trying to achieve its something great but hard to do with a biased render engine like vray, but it can be done, this is much easier with unbiased render engines like maxwell, but im intersted on seen your future results, ill be watching your post bro, keep em coming!!

Sorry for being off topic here. but..

Teo can you elaborate onthat unbiased render engine thing. I've heard it couple of times but never understood the difference between those two types of engines.
