here the link for dld I put the vismat and the scene. Displacement it's default, just the settings for material are different. Check the geometry too.

Glad to help Nomer! I don't know what to say regarding displacement...maybe it's the map that make that effect to work, or maybe the geometry, because, you will see, the displacement is the default one, just the multiplier of the displacement map is 0,8. Maybe it's the light, or maybe all of this together. Anyway, I find displacement very tricky..

i think the map is very important, i did this sponge to try displacement once.

i could upload the maps if u like n_n the sponge was made with subdivide and smooth plugin
and the texture was applied with UVmaps plugin. cheers!
oh and to mr nomeradona, i just wanted to say i LOVE physical camera, its just that
stantard camera works better with HDRI and night scenes

Amazing looking sponge and the way you have that little glow around the blue ball is omething that I have never really seen before with vray. Care to explain how you did it?

Simply Beautiful. How did you map that texture on that towel and where did the model come from? U make it urself?

Indeed, the towels are simply beautiful nektares! Steelers, I mapped this towel model once, and I had the texture "projected". You enable hidden geometry( from view tab),and then select one triangle from your model, right click/texture/projected, then apply that texture from that triangle over the entire model. I think migz have an tutorial about that.

thanks! and stefanq i didnt knew projected textures could wrap around objects like than what i did instead was map them from the .3ds, and those towels are from evermotion

i still find that towel thing setting has great setting. can you share your visopt. like how you shared your previous one. i must say we have learn a lot from the previous one. im suspecting there is again another special how you use the physical camera. coz you said you love the physical camera and it shows here.

I'm pretty satisfied with this render
The only thing that bothers me is the shadows coming from the apples- noisy
                                Settings used
Environment Gi & BG turned off, for lightning the scene i used rectangular lights.
Engine IR- primary (HSph. 50, Samples 50) and LC- secondary (1000 subs)
