The Matte Shadow channel looks promising.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

Yes. It was my first actual rendering with it.

                    Great render.

If you don't mind me asking but where can I get the material you used on the structure and the wood decking?

All of the materials is the preview textures from the Arroway site. (I have now since I did that scene bought their complete package.)

Thanks for the speedy response. Are these texture packages easily applied to sketchup or there is some leg work I have to do to get it compatiable?

They are all in either .png or .jpg format, so there's nothing special to them. ...except that they are nice high quality textures...

Thank you again, you've been extremely helpful.

You seem to be one of the veteran posters on this board, so I thought I'd ask you one last question. Do you know where or how I would go about locating MadoEXT.visopt? I've seen this visopt mentioned on multiple occasions on various threads but I've been unsuccessful in my search for this file.

I'm afraid I don't know. Things has been moved around with the last site update. Not sure where it went. You could send the ASGVis team a message.

I have it amongst some visopt I downloaded over the last few days. Let me know how I can get it to you.
