ande is there any other way of writing a tutorial on this.
i've done a tutorial in english, how to make a leather material in vray for sketchup. I'm uploading it right now on youtube, and when it is done i'll put the link here!!!!
I'm sorry for my bad english, i've studied it a realy long time ago, and i dont have how to practice it, i can write, i can read, i can understand, but when i've to speeak things change lol!
yes ande, very good tutorial, and thank you. you say its difficult for you to talk in english. well i cauld undertand everything its clear. i tried it but i cant seem get the same effect as you have. still struggling with it.
nice test again stefan there.
thom, is that the kind of tint are you saying. you said you wan to have shadow with that tint right. as we know we have talk about this before. stefanq suggested to use sun and hdri background at the same time. but then the ambient tint that you may want could not be there. so an idea perhaps is to composite the two renders.

Yea, composite might work. Though. not use how predictable the result will be. I wonder if it's possible to render out a shadow channel. That might work.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.
