      @joselopezha

How did you make the carpet? looks great! and for the leather i think you should rescale the size of the texture and increase the reflection subdivision value to reduce the noise, that its what people from here told me and it works

Here's an update for the leather texture that i was trying to get y like it now. What do you think?

@Cesar: tnks for the advice, for the carpet i've used some config like the one i posted here: http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?to...57173#msg57173

It is not a tutorial but at the end of the post i've published some configurations for displacement. Good luck.

There is visopt you asked me: http://www.4shared.com/file/swn2eQkA...or_asgvis.html

But the link you placed here about the carpet, doesn't open for me. Do you know why? >

i'll post everything here better... :

WOW! I have it! do not know if I was wrong. but in the instructions I think there's something strange. Since the values are the opposite.

            Am I correct?
The larger the value for edge length the finest should be the displacement.
However when I make this value smaller, I have a better displacement result

This is the result of what i've tested: I kept the same settings for the material, just change the global values.

            Canfig and result (attemp 1)

            Config and result (attemp 2)
This is the result with a different configuration.

And this is the result we wanted to have! Finally!
            This was made with

Max Subdivs 5000 / Edge Length 1.5 And the Amount to 0.8

Jose, check out this video tutorial made by Andeciula, about how to achieve realistic leather material. Yours it's looking good, but I think you could improve it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2NwxopNtnI

Pepe... last image is looking great. i think you need to decrease a little the reflection layer.

i think it's a little bit burnt... try increasing the f number value and play just with the shutter speed and the film iso...
or try with fernando's combination of hdri's and vray sun ;D
