wood appears to be too much noise, all the while working on this I'm not also happy with anti-aliasing, jagged edges appear when I turn off the option "Affect background. " How do you handle this problem...

sure, no proble, i can share it. but it´s only a two sided material and in the inside i put a couple of very thin rectangular lights...
about the specs question... sorry, what is that? hehe
i'll upload the model tomorrow, cause now i'm in a small trip :P

here's the link to the file with the lamps.
they're made with a two sided material and in the inside i put a couple of rectangular lights.
hope you find this helpfull, cause i haven't had time to try the latest release, and i'm still with the 1.48.83... i think...

i'm at the university right now, and i just downloaded this image that i edited the other day from my facebook hehe. i think that now that it is in black and white it seems a little bit more realistic :P

this is another super quick render, it took me about 15 minutes, including modelling, render and post production.
i made the render to give a little extra because this is sort of a contest, and of course, as it is with this kind of simple constructions in wich there is no project, the winner is the one that makes the cheapest proposal. of course i'd like to make some improvements to the design, but the company has a very limited budget, and i had to respect it.
it's going to be an ofice for a couple of doctors...
