This is a recent design of mine that I have just kinda done for fun, but I am having an issue with IES lighting and I dont know why? You can see in the original image (image 2) that my spotlights dont look fully lit, but when I increased the intensity to over 300, it just burnt out the area by the clock and I still wasnt getting a good IES scallop. Is it because it is right near a white, semi-reflective surface? I am using a physical camera and I do have the IES map inserted in the transparency spot so I am doing it the right way according to any tutorials. Also, I had one mapped by my painting (Image 3) on the right hand side and the intensity was jacked way up to like 600 and it just let off too much light and it didnt give me any IES scallops when it was a high intensity and when I lowered the intensity to like 250, I would get barely any light at all. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? Also, any other comments or critiques are much appreciated.
