    Re: My Gallery

Just had a look over your beer glass rendering again as I'm working on a beer jug project at the minute. The foam on yours looks a little solid, something like this would be great -

I'd love to know how to make the materials though!

Thanks Sheva! At least try it

Hi Andy, did you render this?? The beer bubbles are fantastic!, like 200 times better than mine
Anyway, you can start from this one (the one I use on my render)this is the one I used on my render. Is very basic compared to your post.

        Some more renders

This is a plastic ring part.
It was made using T-Splines plugin for Rhino4.

This is a render I made for a Soloist singer from here (Kind of a mailing invitation).... www.maxipardo.com.ar Check it out....nice songs!

I think the DOF needs to be a bit more shallow

            Re: My Gallery

Yeah, DOF is a bit extreme on that one

sadly I didn't render the beer glass, it's from a 3D model share site (and costs about $40 or something from memory!)

just can't work out how to make the foam, closest I've got is using a diffuse jpg which isn't ideal!

The foam is lovely but the beer looks more like a piss.

Try to focus on transparency map instead. This foam looks like a surface with a lot of tiny little holes.

                Re: My Gallery

                Hi, thanks for the comments.
The idea on the "Extreme focus" render was focusing the image on 2 parts......the web direction......and the union between the grass and the "Flower".....My intention was making it extreme but probably I went to far.
Diference between Beer and Pis is temperature, which doesnt show on renders so....
                I am agree with Steve.....Transparent + bump + diffuse + (maybe) a bit of emissive....could work.
