Lovely Nomer! Do you have any tips for this release?
1. when using rectangular lights as fillin ligths. sometimes they are showing on the refelcted areas. in order avoid this click the light and once the light parameters appear. untick affect specular and refelection
2. lights: i prefer lumens units. scalar units are giving me headache especially when the rectagular light is small. read the manual
3. use the noise threshold when using adpative dmc. the soft shadows of lights are much smoother
4. color mapping is another thing that everyone must explore, to gain good contrast of dark and light areas.
5. handling materials is just sweet.. keep on purging unwanted materials specially when using a lot of compnents and removing them again.
6. keep on practicing and dont give up.
7. if you want to keep smooth and subdivide, install both sketchup 7 and sketchup 6. one of them has vraysr. at the moment whenever i load smooth and subdivide and sr together. my SAS is not responding properly. but alone is ok...therefore my solution is the above. sketchup 5, 6 or 7 can be there at the same time... good job SU
8.one thing i notice, the preliminary vray processing after hitting render seems taking a lot of time. so BE PATIENT.
